Our program only works when the Associates are successful. We provide ongoing marketing support to the Associate Dealers beyond the initial Welcome Packet. This support takes several forms:

  • Periodic correspondence with news about the Associate Dealers, marketing tips and ideas.

  • Assistance with presentations to businesses, including revising presentation materials and preparing demonstrations of your web store and web store tools.

  • Advice anytime on how to position your new services with the customers.

Listed below are a few inexpensive ways to market your web store. Hopefully, once you become an Associate Dealer, these tips will stimulate other marketing ideas and to serve as a "Things To Do" checklist.

  • Customer Follow-up Calls:

    It's critical to place a follow-up call to remind your larger customers to purchase.
  • Customer Introduction Letter:

    We will help you create a hard-copy formal introduction letter addressed from you to your customers letting them know about your web store and the benefits of purchasing from somebody they know.
  • Newspaper Business Section Listing:  Place advertisements in weekly or monthly local papers or trade magazines in the "Business Section" to help expand your customer base.

  • Store Signs/Posters:

    This is an inexpensive & direct way of promoting to your customers if you have a physical store front.
  • Direct Mail Invoice Inserts:

    This is a great inexpensive way to get the message across. Repetitive marketing is the key!
  • Setup In-store Counter PC: 

     If you have access to a used/new pc with internet access, setup the pc in your store to show customers how to register & order right there or have them call us to get started.
  • Include Your Web Store Address

    on all marketing materials for your core business & within the signature of your outgoing emails.
  • Custom Presentations:

    We will help you present Procurement tools to your larger customers, chains, franchises, businesses with multiple branches.
  • Create a Link from Home Page to direct your customers to your online web store. We suggest that you name the link "Order Office Products".

  • Obtain "Outside Partner" Websites:

    Contact other sources and  obtain links from other online businesses such as friends, churches, the local Chamber of Commerce, local area businesses, etc. Pay to click would be another option to obtain traffic. 
  • Search Engine Optimization: If your web store domain is registered with a different hosting company, you can have them optimize (SEO) your domain name. This will help you establish an online presence with individuals you do not know. Prices range from $1,000 - $2,000 or depending on the level of  optimization.   • Obtain Free Customer Lists:

    Purchase a list of small businesses in your area with a employee size of 1 to 50. CCR has a free listing of business in your area. Click on the following link and enter your zip code to obtain a free listing of business that may want to order from you. There are many others - just search on Google, MSN or Yahoo under words like "small businesses houston".
  • Email Campaign:

    Send us your customer file in excel or text format containing email, fax number and/or first name and we will send out your web store "Launch" email for you! 

We also recognize the value of customized, branded marketing materials to support your online business. We include a coordinated bundle of these materials in the Associate Dealers Welcome Packet. In addition, we are constantly reviewing and updating the materials we can make available to the Associates. We develop these materials with efficiency in mind and make them available at cost.
